The Line Between Faith and Fact: A look into a world after the Manus Dei System

As humans we tend to have little to no ability to deny the urges and desires we battle daily.  Giving in is often the most sought after choice.  Something that may ease us along the way of indulgence is the simple words "What if there are no repercussions?".  This simple sentence can justify any nefarious act.  The possibility that God and morals don't exist is one thing that has perhaps justified more atrocious acts than any other.
Now let's humor the idea that God has been proven to exist.  Imagine there being concrete evidence of His/Her existence.  The thought above would now be futile.  With the knowledge that every action you make will effect your afterlife being true, there could be no benefit of the doubts and from then on, life would be ruled by the iron fist of inescapable consequence.
The Manus Dei System in my novel series did just that.  How would it change your life?  Would you be the same?
